Egyptian star Omar Marmoush has not stopped shining this season with Eintracht Frankfurt, and this time his brilliance came in the European League.
The German club met with Danish Midtjylland in the fifth round of the league stage, where they succeeded in winning 2-1, thanks primarily to Marmoush.
The Egyptian international was the decisive passer in Frankfurt’s first goal through Larsson, then the home team equalized.
Here Marmoush intervened again, first he got a penalty kick after his shot hit the hand of a Midtjylland defender, then he took the kick himself and scored the winning goal for the Eagles.
Marmoush raised his number of goals in the European League to 3 goals in addition to two assists.
In general, Marmoush’s total goal contributions this season reached 26 goals, with 15 goals scored by him, and 11 other assists.
