Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti sent a clear message to all his critics through the El Larguero program.
The criticism against Ancelotti does not stop after Real Madrid’s position in the Champions League became complicated following the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The royal club is ranked 24th in the Champions League standings with only 6 points, and it has become difficult to be among the first 8 teams and qualify directly to the round of 16.
According to the program, Ancelotti sent a message to journalist Alberto Cerruti in which he said to him, “Remember well that Real Madrid will be in the 2025 Champions League final at the Allianz Arena.”
This message is an extension of Ancelotti’s statements after the Reds match, during which he confirmed that he is confident in the Merengue’s ability to go far even if it has to play the round of 16 play-offs.
Ancelotti has previously won 3 Champions League titles with Real Madrid, the first in 2014, the other in 2022 and the last in last year’s edition.
It is noteworthy that Real Madrid has only won two matches this season in Europe against Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund, while losing 3 others against Lille, Milan and finally Liverpool.
