The newspaper “Sport” reported that Real Madrid’s management will resort to a solution that it previously followed with Karim Benzema in order to solve the Kylian Mbappe crisis and restore his usual level.
So far, Mbappe has not shown the expected impact, and things got worse after he missed a penalty kick against Liverpool that would have changed the course of the match and spared Real a 2-0 defeat at Anfield.
According to the report, Real Madrid’s management contacted Zinedine Zidane and asked him to provide advice to Mbappe, as he previously did with Benzema and turned his career with the Merengue upside down.
Zizou enjoys a close relationship with Mbappe, and there is no better evidence of this than the fact that the French legend himself attended the player’s signing ceremony for Real Madrid last July.
Real Madrid is confident that Zidane can give Mbappe advice on how to deal with pressure and how he can get out of this crisis, as well as some technical advice that is in line with coach Carlo Ancelotti’s style of play.
It remains to be noted that Mbappe has only scored two goals in the last month, and in total he played 18 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored 9 goals and made two assists.
