The president of the Spanish League, Javier Tebas, confirmed that he sent an official warning to Real Madrid and Vinicius Junior because of “piracy”.
The Brazilian star posted a picture on Instagram while watching the Real Madrid and Liverpool match, but the picture showed that he was not watching it through the exclusive carrier “Movistar”.
Since Vinicius was in Spain, this means that he used one of the piracy tools such as VPN to access the Brazilian TNT Sports channel and watch the match.
Spanish law prohibits any piracy tools, and sometimes it reaches imprisonment and a large fine for those who do so.
Tebas said about the matter, “If Vinicius is in Madrid, and I think he is, then he committed the crime of piracy”.
As a result, Tebas took action and sent a warning to Real Madrid and the player that repeating the matter will mean punishing him mercilessly.
Vinicius is already suffering from several crises in Spain, and he did not need to add insult to injury with a new crisis that could have been easily avoided.
