United’s crushing victory over Everton is marred by very unfortunate news

Manchester United achieved a great victory over their guest Everton 4-0 in the 13th round of the English Premier League.

This match was the first for coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford, after playing the first two matches away from the Theater of Dreams against Ipswich Town and Bodo Glimt.

In the Portuguese’s first match at the Red Devils’ stronghold, United presented an amazing performance and completely dominated Everton, who did not create any significant danger throughout the 90 minutes.

Marcus Rashford regained his scoring sense and scored two goals in the 34th and 46th minutes, while Joshua Zirkzee responded to the critics with a double in the 41st and 64th minutes.

Despite the happiness of United’s victory, unfortunate news appeared for Amorim’s squad before the upcoming match against Arsenal next week in the Premier League.

Kobe Mainoo received a yellow card, as did Lisandro Martinez, to confirm their absence from the Gunners’ summit scheduled to be held at the Emirates Stadium due to accumulation of cards.

Amorim may succeed in replacing Lisandro in the presence of Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans and Matthijs de Ligt, but Mainoo’s loss is the biggest and most devastating.

Perhaps Amorim has begun preparing for his successor in the Arsenal match by bringing in Mason Mount and giving him more minutes, as well as new arrival Manuel Ugarte.

It remains to be noted that United, with their victory over Everton, rose to ninth place with 19 points, while the Toffees’ balance froze at 11 points in 15th place.
