Spanish media reported that Jude Bellingham underwent accurate medical examinations after the Real Madrid and Getafe match to check on his health.
The English international left the match between the two halves due to an injury that Carlo Ancelotti revealed was a stiff neck muscle after a joint intervention with one of the opponent’s defenders.
According to recent reports, the examinations proved that Bellingham’s injury is not serious, and that he can return and participate in training within a short period.
Thus, the 22-year-old will be at the top of coach Ancelotti’s list for the Athletic Bilbao match scheduled for next Wednesday at San Mames Stadium.
Bellingham scored one of Real Madrid’s two goals in Getafe, from a penalty kick, the second in his career with the royal club over the past two seasons, to raise his goal tally this season to 3 goals.
It is worth noting that Real Madrid is one point behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, with one match less for the royal club.
