Edoardo Bove stole the hearts of everyone around the world after his horrific fall in the match between his team Fiorentina and Inter and suffering a heart attack at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
Bove was immediately transferred to Careggi Hospital, and the good news is that his condition has begun to improve, according to the Italian newspaper “Repubblica”.
Bove’s breathing tube was removed 13 hours after he fell to the ground and his heart was revived, and the player regained consciousness and began answering the doctors’ questions and interacting normally.
Fortunately, the latest tests that Bove underwent on Monday morning proved that he had not suffered any damage to his heart or brain after the heart attack.
The reason for the stability of the Italian player’s condition is due to the exceptional treatment of the doctors on the field and in the ambulance immediately after the accident, as he arrived at the hospital in a stable condition.
Over the course of Sunday night and Monday morning, the 22-year-old spent his time in intensive care until he regained consciousness.
It remains to be noted that the Inter-Fiorentina match was suspended due to the incident after only 16 minutes of kick-off, and it was decided to postpone it to resume indefinitely.
Bove is a Roma player, and last summer he moved to Fiorentina on loan, where the midfielder played 14 matches this season, during which he scored one goal and made four others.
