Former Al-Nassr goalkeeper Walid Abdullah believes that Cristiano Ronaldo loves the idea of converting to Islam, and he has shown this on more than one occasion.
Walid Abdullah was one of the people close to “Don” in the past year and a half, before he left Al-Nassr at the end of last season.
Previously, the famous goalkeeper said that Ronaldo loves Islam and that he might convert to it, and now he is repeating these words in more detail.
Walid said in press statements, “I spoke to him once about converting to Islam and I found him welcoming the matter.”
He also added, “Ronaldo prostrated himself once, and all the Al-Nasr players started to say Allahu Akbar at that time.”
He continued, “Ronaldo always urges the players to pray, to the point that if he saw any player who did not pray with us, he would ask him to join us.”
He concluded, “Ronaldo also always wondered about the names of the prayers, and he would ask the coach to stop training when he heard the call to prayer.”
