It seems that all roads lead to the announcement of Mohamed Salah’s renewal of his contract with Liverpool in the coming days.
The Mirror newspaper confirmed that the Reds’ management reached an agreement with Salah to renew his contract for two years while keeping his salary as it is.
Indirectly, the Egyptian star confirmed the validity of this news through a photo he posted on his official Instagram account.
Salah posted a picture of an incense bottle with white smoke coming out of it, a well-known sign in Europe when different parties reach an agreement.
Thus, the 32-year-old may want to send a message that he is in agreement with the Liverpool management and that the official renewal is only a matter of time.
The main dispute between Salah and the Liverpool management was the length of the contract, as the player wanted 3 new years, while the club wanted only one year to pass 30 years.
In the end, the two parties found common ground, which is to renew the contract for two years and not reduce his salary in light of the legendary performance the player is presenting this season.
It remains to be noted that Salah played 21 matches with Liverpool this season in all competitions, during which he scored 15 goals and made 12 others.
