Galatasaray and Morocco national team star Hakim Ziyech rejects the idea of moving to Al-Ahly of Egypt or a club in the Middle East in the coming period.
This is what many media outlets have confirmed in recent hours, after it was reported that Al-Ahly will try to sign Ziyech to support it in the 2025 Club World Cup.
According to reports, Ziyech told his agent that he wants two things and no third, which are either to stay with Galatasaray next season, or to move to a better club than him, including the possibility of returning to the Netherlands.
Despite the interest that the Moroccan international enjoys from many Arab clubs in addition to Al-Ahly, such as Al-Arabi of Qatar and Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia, as well as American League clubs, this does not match his desires.
As for the 31-year-old, the next goal in his career is to lead the Moroccan national team in the 2025 African Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to start in December of next year in Morocco.
Ziyech has recently been removed from coach Walid Regragui’s squad after his form declined, and he hopes to succeed throughout this season and the beginning of next season in providing what would justify him leading his country in the anticipated event next year.
