FIFA has announced the date of the 2024 The Best Awards Ceremony in its various categories.
It was previously announced that the ceremony would be held in January 2025, but FIFA decided to bring forward the date of the ceremony to coincide with the 2024 Intercontinental Cup.
According to the announcement, the Qatari capital, Doha, will host the ceremony on Tuesday, December 17.
The celebration will be in Doha, due to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Aspire Academy for Youth in Qatar.
A number of senior players are competing for the Best Award, most notably Lionel Messi, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal.
The ceremony will witness the distribution of the awards for the best player, best coach, best goalkeeper, and the ideal formation for men’s players, as well as the best female player, goalkeeper and coach (or coach) for a women’s team, and the ideal formation for women.
