It is most likely that Joan Laporta’s administration is waiting until the player turns 18, to obtain a professional contract for a financial consideration that will make him one of the highest paid players in the Catalan club.
The Portuguese agent ends by confirming any recent rumors about the interest of several clubs in Yamal, most notably Paris Saint-Germain.
Yamal’s new contract with Barcelona is expected to include a €1 billion release clause that will make it impossible for him to leave Catalonia before the end of the contract, which is expected to extend to 2030.
It is worth noting that Yamal has confirmed more than once that he is not thinking of leaving Barcelona, indicating that he dreams of being the next Barça legend after Lionel Messi.
