Kyle Walker completes deal with European giants to join them

Kyle Walker has completed his deal with his new club after informing Manchester City of his desire to leave during the current winter transfer window.

Guardiola had announced that Walker would leave the English club after feeling great pressure from fans due to his declining performances.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Walker has already completed his agreement with Milan to join the Italian giants immediately.

It remains unknown whether Milan will pay even a symbolic price to conclude the Walker deal, or whether Manchester City will terminate the contract by mutual consent with the player to join the Rossoneri for free.

The 34-year-old was one of City’s biggest deals of the past decade, when the Blues bought him from Tottenham in 2017 for 52 million euros.

The England international achieved many individual and collective achievements with City before his performances began to decline relatively since last season, and reached their peak this season.

Milan will be Walker’s first experience outside the English Premier League, after he was close to joining Bayern Munich in 2023, had Guardiola not refused to sell the Citizens star at the time.
