It will be a matter of hours and Omar Marmoush will officially join Manchester City after agreeing on all the details with his club Eintracht Frankfurt since last Thursday.
Marmoush did not participate in the Borussia Dortmund match on Friday, and was content to go down to the field after the match to bid farewell to the Frankfurt fans at the Deutsche Bank Park.
According to Sky Sports, Marmoush will be officially announced as a new player for Manchester City next Monday.
The Egyptian international is expected to travel to Manchester on Sunday, undergo medical tests on Monday morning, and then sign the contracts for his transfer to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
There is a difference of opinion about the final value of the deal, as Sky Sports says it is 75 million euros and another 5 million in variables, while Fabrizio Romano revealed that it will be 75 million euros in total.
It is expected that Marmoush will quickly issue a work permit in England, and accordingly he may participate in the Chelsea match next Saturday.
