Saudi League legend refuses to buy Ronaldo’s shirt for his son!

In a position that showed great loyalty to his former club Al-Ahly, Syrian star Omar Al-Somah refused his son’s request to buy the shirt of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a widely circulated video clip, Al-Somah appeared talking to his young son, who asked him to buy Ronaldo’s shirt, but this request was met with a categorical refusal from the current Al-Orobah star.

Al-Somah replied to his son that there was only Al-Ahly’s shirt in his house, stressing his great loyalty to the club where he spent the best years of his football career.

The 35-year-old played 240 matches with Al-Ahly’s shirt in all tournaments, during which he scored 193 goals and made 30 assists. He also won the Saudi League, King’s Cup, Crown Prince’s Cup and Saudi Super Cup with the “classy” shirt.

Al-Somah left Al-Ahly after it was relegated to the Yelo League in 2022, and moved to Al-Arabi of Qatar, before returning this winter to the Roshn League through Al-Orobah.
