La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan is seeking to sign one of Barcelona’s stars during the current winter transfer period.
The Catalan club is also looking to sell at least one player during the winter so that it can sign an offensive reinforcement, specifically in the left wing position.
Milan wants to sign Ferran Torres
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan has set Ferran Torres as its first target during the remaining period of the current winter Mercato.
The Rossoneri want to take advantage of the fact that Torres does not participate much and may not feel happy professionally with Barcelona recently, so he can be signed in the winter.
Torres’ position on moving to Milan
Mundo Deportivo responded to this news, quoting a source close to Ferran Torres, that the player does not want to move to Milan.
The 24-year-old prefers to continue with Barcelona until the end of this season at least, and he hopes that coach Hansi Flick will rely on him more in the coming period.
Barcelona refuses to sell Torres except in one case
In principle, Barcelona refuses to let go of Torres, and sees him as the first alternative for all attacking positions currently, and losing him will be difficult to compensate for.

However, there is only one case in which Barca can accept Torres’ departure, which is if Milan makes an offer that cannot be refused from an economic point of view.
It is not expected that Milan will pay a lot for Torres, but on the contrary, the basic idea is to sign him on loan until the end of the season.
Ferran Torres’ numbers with Barcelona this season
The Spanish international has played 20 matches with Barcelona this season in all competitions this season, and Hansi Flick has confirmed more than once that he is an important player for him.
Torres has scored 6 goals this season with Barcelona, 2 in the Champions League, 3 in La Liga and 1 in the Spanish King’s Cup. Torres’ contract with Barcelona still has another two and a half years to run.
