Zouhair El Moutaraji brought back very bad memories for Al-Ahly and its fans, thanks to his goal in the match between the Red Devils and Farco in the Egyptian League 2025.
The Moroccan player received the ball on the edge of the penalty area, then fired a powerful shot that Mohamed El-Shennawy failed to deal with, to score the first goal for Farco in the 23rd minute.
This is the fourth goal scored by Zouhair El Moutaraji against Al-Ahly, as he scored a goal in the second leg of the 2019 CAF Champions League semi-final with Wydad, and two goals when he was a player for Wydad in the 2022 CAF Champions League final.

Al-Ahly lost this final 2-0 thanks to El Moutaraji’s two goals, in the final that was played at Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca for the last time in a single match system.
El Moutaraji remained with Wydad until he left in January 2024 to Al-Khaldiya of Bahrain, before joining Farco for free at the beginning of the current season.
Three years after his historic brace, the 28-year-old once again scores against Mohamed El-Shennawy, also with a shot from outside the penalty area.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan player has only played five matches with Pharco this season due to injuries, and this is the first time he has started with the Alexandrian team.
