Guardiola and Haaland praise Marmoush: Amazing and unbelievable!

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised Omar Marmoush in his first appearance against Chelsea, while Erling Haaland expressed his admiration for his new teammate.

Marmoush played as a starter just 72 hours after joining City, and participated in 74 minutes against Chelsea, during which he scored a goal that was disallowed for offside, and his level was very good overall.

Guardiola told the media about Marmoush after the match, “This is his first game and he knows how to deal with change and his movements are unbelievable.”

He also added, “I think Gundogan, Kovacic and Bernardo Silva have to be better in these movements, especially when Chelsea played with a high defense.”

He continued, “In the end, we don’t know how he moves, and it will take time, but he played 75 good minutes.”

As for Haaland, he also said, “I watched Marmoush before in the Bundesliga, it’s really great to play with him, you can see something special about him.”

“I’m looking forward to playing alongside him, I’m sure we’ll have a great time together,” he concluded.

Marmoush will miss City’s next Champions League match against Club Brugge, but will then face Arsenal in London.
