Manchester City star Omar Marmoush expressed his happiness with the performance he gave in his first appearance with the English club against Chelsea on Saturday.
The Egyptian international participated as a starter for 74 minutes, and scored a goal but it was disallowed for offside in the match that Pep Guardiola’s team won 3-1.
After the match, Marmoush spoke to the media, and said about his first appearance, “It would have been an excellent start if the disallowed goal had been counted, it was a very beautiful feeling when I scored it.”
He also added, “In the end, the most important thing is that the team won and achieved the three points.”
The 25-year-old continued, “There is great harmony between me and Haaland, he talks to me from the beginning and tries to get me into the team’s atmosphere.”
He concluded, “He is a good person and a fantastic player, and I am very happy to play with him.”
It is noteworthy that Haaland also expressed his happiness to be a teammate of Marmoush and praised his performance, which is what Pep Guardiola also did, considering that the Egyptian has “excellent moves” that his teammates failed to exploit.
