Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has ended any controversy surrounding his position on leaving the royal club in light of the astronomical Saudi offers he received.
Spanish media outlets reported that the Saudi league is ready to pay Vinicius an annual salary of 300 million euros, while buying his contract from Real for 400 million euros.
The Brazilian international said in statements reported by Marca newspaper, “Making history is very important for me and my family.”
He also added, “I hope to stay with Real Madrid for many more years.”
Vinicius crossed the 100-goal mark with Real Madrid, and commented on this achievement by saying, “It is an indescribable feeling because only 20 players have scored more than 100 goals with Real Madrid, including Ronaldo, the phenomenon who always gave me advice.”
He concluded, “Cristiano Ronaldo was the last person I was able to see leave this mark, I hope to follow in his footsteps.”
