Firmino excluded from Al-Ahli’s local list.. and his departure is imminent!

Al-Ahli Saudi Club announced the exclusion of Roberto Firmino from the team’s local list and his replacement with the new arrival Galinho, in shocking news for the Brazilian international that puts his future at stake.

The regulations of the Saudi Roshen League competition stipulate the registration of 25 players in the list, including eight foreigners, and two players born in 2003.

Galinho joined Al-Ahli in the last winter transfer period coming from Porto, and coach Matias Jaissle decided that he was more deserving of the foreign seat than Firmino.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Firmino is now closer to leaving Al-Ahli than continuing with the “Castle of Cups”.

The offers began to reach the 33-year-old in the last hours, without revealing the identity of the clubs interested in the player yet, although it is expected that they are Brazilian and American clubs.

If Firmino completes the season with Al-Ahli, he will only participate in the AFC Champions League elite competition, and we are talking here about two matches in the round of 16, then a maximum of 3 matches if Al-Raqi succeeds in reaching the final.
