Surprise.. Zizo may participate in the 2025 Club World Cup

Zamalek star Ahmed Sayed Zizo is receiving attention from one of the clubs participating in the 2025 Club World Cup.

This was confirmed by media figure Khaled El-Ghandour, who indicated the interest of the Emirati club Al-Ain in signing Zizo next summer.

The Egyptian international’s contract with the White Knight expires at the end of the current season, and it is currently likely that he will not renew and will leave the White Knight at the end of the current season.

According to El-Ghandour, negotiations between Al-Ain and Zizo began in the past weeks, and an agreement between the two parties is imminent.

As for Zamalek, negotiations with Zizo for renewal have recently stopped, which suggests that the player is on the verge of leaving.

The only obstacle remains is the expiration date of Zizo’s contract with Zamalek. If it is at the end of the current season, he will most likely not be able to catch up with the Club World Cup, as the league will continue until the end of June, as announced.

Al Ain is not the only club interested in Zizo, as there are also some offers from Saudi clubs, with reports of interest from Qatari club Al Shamal in signing him.
