France national team coach Didier Deschamps announced that Kylian Mbappe will return to participate with the Roosters again during the next international break in March.
The Real Madrid star missed the last break in November by a decision from Deschamps, coinciding with his decline in form with the Royal Club and the criticism and pressures he went through.
In an interview with the newspaper “L’Equipe”, Deschamps confirmed that the crisis is over, and that Mbappe will be called up again to participate with the French national team.
Perhaps the main reason for this is Mbappe’s return to his level and his explosion since the beginning of 2025 with Real Madrid in a way that greatly reduced the pressures, and thus he can face other pressures in France.
Since Mbappe wore the captain’s armband a year ago, criticism has been following him, especially during and after Euro 2024, and now he will have to respond to all of these matters.
The French national team is scheduled to play two matches during the international break in March against the Croatian national team in the quarter-finals of the European Nations League.
