Liverpool manager Arne Slot has praised Mohamed Salah and compared him to Cristiano Ronaldo in his physical condition despite his advanced age.
The Dutch coach said about the 32-year-old, “You can see his age in situations, but in a positive way, I mean here the great experience and intelligence to know where the ball will move.”
He also added, “His physical fitness shows that he is in very good condition considering that he plays a match every 3 days.”
Slot continued his praise for Salah by saying, “He is not the only one who does this, there is also Cristiano Ronaldo who is still playing at the age of 40, and certainly Mohamed Salah is a role model for all our young players.”
He concluded, “32 years is not a great age for a footballer, he is still at a very acceptable age, Salah proves that well.”
It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah is the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 22 goals, and he has contributed to 46 goals in 35 matches in all competitions (scoring 27 and assisting 19).
