Neymar scored for the first time in a Santos shirt, during his team’s match against Agua Santa in the Brazilian Paulista Championship.
Neymar’s last goal was in October 2023, and it was his only goal in a Al Hilal shirt when he played with the Blue Wave against Nasaji in the AFC Champions League.
Neymar was then absent for a year and a half due to a torn cruciate ligament, before he mutually terminated his contract with Al Hilal last January and returned to Santos.
The 32-year-old participated with Santos for the third match, and finally managed to score a goal from a penalty kick that he won himself with great individual skill.
Neymar’s contributions did not stop there, as he made another goal in the venerable Brazilian club’s 3-1 victory over its opponent.

It remains to be noted that Neymar’s contract with Santos extends for 6 months, and the player aims to return to Europe after that to prepare well for the 2026 World Cup.
