Salah surpasses Ronaldo’s achievement and approaches Messi!

Mohamed Salah is having a historic season by all standards with Liverpool, and his nominations to compete for the 2025 Ballon d’Or are increasing significantly.

Mohamed Salah contributed 49 goals (scored 29, assisted 20) in 37 matches he played with Liverpool this season, and he is the player with the most goal contributions in Europe so far.

In the Premier League, Salah scored 24 goals and assisted 15 others in 26 matches, thus surpassing the best goal contributions record of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo with Manchester United.

Ronaldo contributed 37 goals in the 2007-2008 season by scoring 31 goals and assisting 6 others in 38 matches, while Salah has 39 contributions in only 26 matches.

At the same time, the Egyptian star seeks to equal a very special achievement registered in the name of Lionel Messi.

The Egyptian King has become the first player to score and assist in 10 or more games in a single season in the top five leagues, since Messi did it in 2014-15 in 11 games.

The 32-year-old is now looking to equal Messi’s legendary record of scoring and assisting in 12 different La Liga games, which he achieved in his historic 2011-12 season when he scored 50 goals and assisted 19 others in 37 games.
