Atletico Madrid will miss two of their key players in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with Real Madrid.
According to Marca, Koke and Cesar Azpilicueta continued to miss Atletico Madrid training 24 hours before the Merengue clash due to injury.
Koke is suffering from a muscle injury that has kept him out of the last four games with the Rojiblancos.
Azpilicueta also has a muscle injury, but has only missed the last three games for Diego Simeone’s side.
Apart from the duo, Atletico Madrid are fully fit and injury-free in the upcoming match against Real Madrid scheduled for Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu.
It is noteworthy that on the other hand, Real Madrid is suffering from many injuries, the latest of which was Dani Ceballos, in addition to Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, and Fede Valverde’s position remains unclear until now.
