Diaz mocks Simeone: Speak now!

Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz took advantage of his wonderful goal against Atletico Madrid to mock Diego Simeone in the heart of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Before the match, Simeone said that he did not believe that Carlo Ancelotti would compensate for the absence of Jude Bellingham due to suspension, by relying on Diaz as he did in the match against Real Betis.

However, the Italian decided to push the Moroccan star, who was one of the stars of the match and crowned it with his goal that gave Real Madrid a 2-1 victory.

The cameras captured Diaz heading towards Simeone after scoring his goal and saying “speak now” in reference to what he said before the match and what the player considered to be belittling him.

Whether Diaz or Simeone, the duo did not mention what happened after the match with any word, and as usual for the Argentine coach, he kept the matter on the pitch only.

Diaz joins a legendary Real Madrid list of four players – Ronaldo, Benzema, Marcelo and Rodrygo – who have scored three goals against Atletico in the 21st century.

Diaz will be part of the Real squad to face Atletico next week at the Wanda, but his starting line-up remains uncertain with Jude Bellingham returning from suspension.
