The Barcelona vs Osasuna match scheduled for Saturday was postponed a few hours before the start of the match.
According to Spanish media, the reason for postponing the match was the death of a member of Barcelona’s medical staff at the hotel.
Barcelona announced that the deceased was Carles Minaro Garcia, the first team doctor.
Despite the two teams arriving at the Olympic Stadium of Luis Companys, Barcelona players were informed of the news, which put everyone in a state of shock.
Barcelona’s management contacted the Spanish Football Federation, as well as the Spanish League, to postpone the match due to this sudden event.
Osasuna club accepted the postponement due to this very special circumstance, and likewise the decision of La Liga and the Spanish Federation came.
