Real Madrid star Ferland Mendy will miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal due to an injury.
Real Madrid announced that Mendy had sustained a left thigh injury after he left the Atletico Madrid match due to an injury.

According to the Spanish newspaper, Mendy will need at least three weeks and a maximum of four weeks to return to action.
This means the left-back will miss the first leg against Arsenal, scheduled for April 8, unless he recovers earlier than expected.
Meanwhile, Mendy has a good chance of making it to the second leg if he recovers in time, although he will likely remain on the bench at the Emirates Stadium.
Fran Garcia is expected to be Mendy’s permanent replacement on the left flank for the upcoming match against Villarreal, then Leganes and Valencia in La Liga, Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, and finally against Arsenal.
