Mohamed Salah has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for February 2025.
Salah beat out his Liverpool teammate Dominique Szoboszlo, Everton’s Beto, Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, Brighton’s Yankuba Mintah, and Tottenham’s Jade Spence.
The Egyptian international contributed to 10 goals last month, scoring six and assisting four.
Salah scored against Bournemouth (two goals), Everton, Wolverhampton, Aston Villa, and Manchester City.
This is the second time Salah has won the Premier League Player of the Month award this season, having also won it last November.
In general, Salah has made Premier League history with this award, as it is his seventh in total in his career, which has spanned from 2017 to 2025, tying with Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane for the most wins.
Perhaps this award somewhat softens the blow of Salah’s Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16, after which the 32-year-old was seen in tears.
Salah leads the Premier League scoring charts with 27 goals and is preparing for a crucial Carabao Cup final with Liverpool on Sunday against Newcastle at Wembley Stadium.
