Marca has revealed Dani Olmo’s position regarding Barcelona’s participation in the Champions League quarter-final match against Borussia Dortmund.
The Spanish international sustained an injury during the match against Osasuna last Thursday and was ruled out for up to three weeks.
Olmo will certainly miss the first leg against Dortmund next Wednesday, scheduled for the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys.
Meanwhile, Barcelona officials are very optimistic, based on the latest medical reports, that Olmo will be fit for the second leg next week.
Between the two matches is a La Liga match against Leganés, in which the 26-year-old is unlikely to participate until he is fully prepared for the most important and difficult encounter at Signal Iduna Park.
It is worth noting that Olmo has made 28 appearances for Barcelona this season in all competitions, scoring eight goals and assisting five others.
