Mbappé’s participation in the Copa del Rey final Clásico revealed

Relevo reported that Kylian Mbappé will be able to participate in Real Madrid’s match against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

The French star suffered a serious injury during his participation in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal, which forced him to leave the field in the second half.

Mbappé underwent comprehensive medical tests in the past few hours, which confirmed that he has a sprained ankle. However, the sprain is minor and not serious.

The 25-year-old needs a maximum of eight days of rest, and thus he will be able to participate normally against Barcelona in the match scheduled for April 26.

Mbappé will miss next Sunday’s La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao due to suspension. Even if he had not been suspended, he would not have participated against the Basque club due to injury.

Starting Monday, Mbappé will begin training in preparation for El Clásico, and there is no fear he will miss the clash scheduled for La Cartuja in Andalusia.

Mbappé is eager to achieve his first El Clásico victory, having lost 4-0 in the league at the Santiago Bernabéu and 5-3 in the Super Cup final in Jeddah.

It’s worth noting that Real Madrid will only be without Dani Carvajal, Éder Militao, and Ferland Mendy for the cup final.
