Arnold’s goal against Leicester puts Liverpool on the brink of Premier League title (Video)

Trent Alexander-Arnold led Liverpool to a precious 1-0 victory over Leicester City in the 33rd round of the Premier League.

The right-back missed the last month and a half due to injury, and made his return as a substitute against Leicester in the 71st minute.

Liverpool had previously missed a number of clear-cut chances, before fate smiled on the Reds with a left-footed volley from inside the penalty area.

Arnold celebrated the goal wildly, taking off his shirt and receiving a yellow card, but this goal was precious and extremely important for Liverpool and deserved a wild celebration.

Liverpool is on the brink of winning the Premier League title, needing just three points to officially become champions.

Liverpool will face Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday at Anfield, and a win would mean Arne Slot’s side have officially clinched their second Premier League title in the era.
