Al-Hilal continues its relentless pursuit of Barcelona star Raphinha, this time by presenting an offer that is difficult for both the player and his club to refuse.
Al-Riyadh newspaper reported that Al-Hilal is willing to pay Barcelona €100 million to agree to Raphinha’s departure.
At the same time, the Saudi club will offer the Brazilian an astronomical salary, earning €50 million annually, compared to his current salary of just €15 million.
Al-Hilal officials have already been in Barcelona in recent days to discuss the possibility of signing Raphinha.
Initially, the former Leeds United player’s priority remains to continue with Barcelona until the 2026 World Cup, but things may change given the astronomical salary on his table.
As for Barcelona, the club sees the €100 million offer as an unmissable opportunity that could solve many of the club’s financial crises. Raphinha could also be replaced by one or more players in the transfer window without any problems.
It’s worth noting that this is the second time Al-Hilal has attempted to sign Raphinha. The first was last summer, and had it not been for Hansi Flick’s intervention, the 28-year-old would have left.
