After a legendary career, Vardy decides to leave Leicester City

Jamie Vardy has decided to end his legendary career with Leicester City at the end of this season, without announcing his next move.

The English striker joined Leicester in 2012 from Fleetwood Town for just €1 million, embarking on a journey that was nothing short of historic.

Vardy succeeded in leading Leicester City back to the Premier League, and in the 2015-16 season, he achieved his greatest achievement by winning the Premier League title.

Vardy rejected several opportunities to move to bigger clubs like Arsenal, preferring to remain with Leicester, even when the team was relegated to the Premier League two years ago.

This season, Vardy failed to lead Leicester to the Premier League, as Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side were relegated with four full rounds remaining.

The 38-year-old has made 32 appearances this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

In total, Vardy played 496 matches for Leicester City in all competitions, scoring 198 goals and providing 69 assists.
