Real Madrid’s management is open to selling Rodrygo Goes during the summer transfer window.
As reported that the Brazilian star has proven to the management that he is the weakest link in the attacking lineup between himself, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé.
Real Madrid’s management still has confidence in Rodrygo, but they have concluded that the four players cannot play together, and that any new coach after Ancelotti will not rely on all of these players together.
As a result, and given Real Madrid’s financial situation, the current thinking is to sell Rodrygo for a large sum and finance major signings in midfield and defense.
The player’s position on leaving remains unknown, as he had previously announced his intention to continue with Real Madrid, and his contract still extends until the summer of 2028.
Manchester City was the most interested in signing Rodrygo, and it was reported that his father had previously met with officials from the English club, who had offered him money and guaranteed starting positions under Pep Guardiola.
