Ibrahim Hassan on excluding Salah from the Egyptian national team: A player cannot be forced to join!
The Egyptian national team roster witnessed a huge surprise with the exclusion of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, which sparked great controversy about the reasons for this.
Ibrahim Hassan, the national team director, came out to reveal the reason for this decision, stressing that there were no problems between Salah and the new apparatus led by his brother Hossam.
Ibrahim Hassan said, “Salah’s exclusion came at his request due to injury and his desire to recover better.”
He also added, “It is not possible to force a player to join. Salah is the captain of the national team and his value is very great, and his presence with us will add strength to the national team.”
He concluded, “We hope for his presence, but we do not want to stand in the way of his normal return to playing.”
