Paris Saint-Germain received unfortunate news during the international break, as its young star, Bradley Barkola, suffered an injury while participating with the France Olympic team.
According to initial reports, Barkola is suffering from a hamstring injury, but the exact duration of his absence from the field has not yet been determined.
In principle, the 21-year-old’s absence will not be less than ten days at best, but things do not look very reassuring.
French media reported that Barcola would largely miss Barcelona’s Champions League quarter-final first leg scheduled for April 10.
As for Luis Enrique, the hope now is that the player will play in the return match the following week, but the whole matter will depend on the results of the tests and the severity of the injury.
It is noteworthy that Barkola played 33 matches in all tournaments with Paris Saint-Germain this season, during which he scored 3 goals and assisted 6 others.
