Spanish journalist Juanvi Sanz Pérez stressed that the news circulating about a record offer from Paris Saint-Germain to include Lamine Yamal from Barcelona is completely false.
Spanish newspapers said that the French club offered 200 million euros to Barcelona to include Yamal, hoping that the 16-year-old would succeed Kylian Mbappe at the Princes’ Park Stadium.
According to Sanz Perez mentioned on the “El Chiringuito” program, he contacted important officials within Paris Saint-Germain, and all of them laughed at this news.
Officials told the famous Spanish journalist that the Paris Saint-Germain management is not crazy to pay 200 million euros in Yamal.
He continued, “They also said that they would never give 200 million euros to an almost bankrupt club like Barcelona.”
Yamal’s contract with Barcelona is still extended until the summer of 2026, and the player does not intend to leave, and it seems that Paris was never interested in obtaining the signature of the owner of Moroccan origins.
It remains to be noted that Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals next April.
