The German newspaper “Bild” revealed that the Eintracht Frankfurt management is open to selling Omar Marmoush next summer, but has set a record value to allow him to leave.
Marmoush has received interest from many English clubs recently, and it has been said that Michael Edwards, the new CEO of Liverpool, intends to bring him to Anfield.
According to the source, Frankfurt wants to sell Marmoush for a value ranging between 50 to 60 million euros.
This huge value comes as a result of the extreme brilliance that Al-Masry is experiencing this season, after he scored 15 goals in all competitions.
If Marmoush is sold for this value, he will become the most expensive Egyptian player in history, surpassing the legend of football in the Nile country, Mohamed Salah.
Salah moved from Roma to Liverpool in the summer of 2017 for 42 million euros, in a deal that was a record at the time in the history of the Reds.
It remains to be noted that Achraf Hakimi is still the most expensive Arab player, after he moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Inter for 70 million euros.
