The tests conducted on Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker have shown that he will be out for a long time due to injury.
The Brazilian international left the last match against Crystal Palace due to an injury that coach Arne Slot described after the match as “very bad”.
According to English media, Alisson will be out for at least 6 weeks due to a hamstring injury.
In principle, this means that Alisson will miss several important matches, most notably the Chelsea and Arsenal matches in the Premier League, and the Bayer Leverkusen match in the Champions League, with doubts about his participation in the Real Madrid match as well.
Coach Slot will have to rely on substitute goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who missed the Crystal Palace match due to injury, but it is believed that he will be ready after returning from the international break.
