FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed that the 2025 Club World Cup will be held on schedule in the United States of America.
Carlo Ancelotti had said that Real Madrid would not participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, before the Spanish club issued a statement confirming its participation and correcting what the Italian coach said.
News has spread that the Premier League and La Liga will refuse to participate in the Club World Cup for fear of stress on the players, and they are also planning to sue FIFA over the date of the tournament.
In turn, Infantino stressed that the competition will be held with the same system and specific date, as he posted on his Instagram account, “In just one year, the Club World Cup will start.”
He also added, “Get ready because the best club world championship is about to start.”
He concluded, “You will see what you have never seen before and experience what you have never experienced before, the best from all the world, and in the end there will be one true champion of the world.”
It is noteworthy that the Club World Cup will be held with the participation of 32 clubs, including 4 Arab clubs: Al-Ahly of Egypt, Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Wydad of Morocco, and Esperance of Tunisia.
