The Confederation of African Football announced the final shortlists for the 2024 African Best Awards.
Earlier, CAF announced the lists for the awards for the best player in the continent, the best African player in general, the best club, the best coach, and others.
Perhaps the most prominent feature in the shortlist for the awards for the best player in Africa and the best club is the competition between the two poles of Egyptian football, Al-Ahly and Zamalek.

Five players in Africa are competing for the award for the best player in the black continent, 3 of whom are Egyptians.
At the top of Cairo is Hussein El-Shahat after leading Al-Ahly to win the African Champions League, along with his colleague, goalkeeper Mustafa Shobier.
From Zamalek, Ahmed Sayed Zizo appears, who was the most important element in Zamalek’s coronation with the Confederation Cup and then the African Super Cup.

List of nominees for the Best Club in Africa 2024 Award
Once again, Al-Ahly and Zamalek are competing, but this time for the Best Club in Africa 2024 Award.
The presence of the two poles seems very logical after the Reds won the Champions League title and the Whites won the Confederation Cup and the African Super Cup.
The duo compete with Esperance of Tunisia, Sundowns of South Africa and Nahdat Barakat of Morocco.

The date of the Best Awards Ceremony in Africa 2024 will be on Monday, December 16, in the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
CAF will broadcast the ceremony for free through its official channels on social media, in addition to ON Time Sports, beIN Sports and Al-Riyadiya Al-Maghribia channels.
