Amid the many injuries that have hit Real Madrid, there is good news for the royal club in the team’s list that will play Liverpool on Wednesday in the Champions League.
The royal club had lost the services of Vinicius Junior after he suffered a muscle injury that will keep him out of the stadiums for at least 3 weeks.
At the same time, coach Carlo Ancelotti regained the services of Lucas Vazquez, who was injured in the Osasuna match before the international break, and was expected to return in December.
But the second captain of the Merengue managed to recover in record time, to support his team’s ranks and give Ancelotti new solutions in the summit scheduled to be held at Anfield.
Fede Valverde played in the right-back position during the last Leganes match to replace Vazquez, and now he can be returned to the middle of the field again, whether Vazquez participates in the start or comes on as a substitute in the second half.
To compensate for Vinicius’ injury, Ancelotti has included young player Gonzalo from Castilla, alongside Raul Asensio, who is expected to continue playing in central defence for the second match in a row.
Aurelien Tchouameni, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, Rodrygo, Vinicius and David Alaba will be absent from Real Madrid’s match against Liverpool due to injury.
