The Cadena Ser network reported that Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, has decided on Vitor Roque leaving the ranks of the Catalan club in the summer transfer period.
Roque joined from Atletico Paranaense last January for 40 million euros, and the view was that he was one of the most important football talents and could integrate and make an immediate difference at Camp Nou.
As for coach Xavi Hernandez, Roque has not yet offered him anything sufficient to take part in the Barcelona shirt, and it has become clear that he needs a lot of work to be able to play in Barcelona.
The 18-year-old only participated in 310 minutes in all tournaments, and his agent announced that the relationship between the player and Xavi had completely worsened in the last month.
Although Barcelona is not convinced by Ruki, the Catalan club does not want to sell the Brazilian, but rather loan him to any European club to gain experience and then return again to the Blaugrana.
This option contradicts what Roque’s agent said, who clearly announced that the player would not be loaned, and if he left Barcelona, it would be in the form of a final transfer only.
