Arda Guler scored a goal during his team’s Real Madrid victory over Celta Vigo with a score of 4-0 in the 28th round of the Spanish League.
Vinicius Junior gave Real Madrid the lead in the first half, then goalkeeper Guaita accidentally scored the second goal in the 78th minute, and another own goal came through Dominguez in the 88th minute.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti introduced the Turkish Arda Guler in the 89th minute instead of Vinicius Junior, and the Turkish finally succeeded in scoring his first goal for the Royal Club in the last minute of the match.
This was Güler’s sixth participation with Real Madrid this season, and perhaps the goal greatly improved his morale after the period of suffering he had experienced from last summer until now.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti was keen to celebrate the 18-year-old after the match, congratulating him on his success in visiting Celta Vigo and emphasizing his great support for him, contrary to what the newspapers were trying to say.
With Real Madrid’s victory, the Royal Club reached 69 points at the top of the La Liga standings, 7 points ahead of runner-up Girona, and 8 points ahead of Barcelona.
