After a long wait.. Real Madrid may finally enter the transfer market!

The newspaper “AS” reported that the option of entering the winter transfer market has returned for Real Madrid in order to strengthen the right-back position.

The performance shown by Lucas Vazquez in the last Clasico was very worrying and made it clear that Real is in dire need of support in this position specifically until the end of the season.

For the first time, Carlo Ancelotti clearly asked the management to sign a right-back, although he maintained his policy of following the management’s orders, which means that even if the desired player is not purchased, he will not object and will try to find a solution from the current players.

However, “AS” reveals that the Real management has finally opened the door to signing a temporary right-back and discussions have begun in this regard about the proposed names to fill the gap.

Trent Alexander-Arnold remains Real Madrid’s first target, but the truth is that signing him in the winter is impossible, although expectations are that he will move to the Santiago Bernabéu for free next summer.

Accordingly, the management believes that it must currently look for an inexpensive temporary option for the coffers to see out the season until the end.

Alex Jimenez, who Milan bought for 5 million euros from Real, and Sevilla full-back Juanlu Sanchez, are the most prominent options at the moment, especially since other players such as Dumfries, Frimpong and Pedro Porro will cost a lot and signing one of them means that Arnold must not be included in the summer.

Florentino Perez’s management has not made its final decision yet, the door is partially open for a deal before February 3, but the option of relying on Fede Valverde and Lucas Vazquez remains, so far, the most likely.
