Cristiano Ronaldo was satisfied with a short message in which he wished Ruben Amorim and Manchester United good luck, after his legendary goal against Poland on Friday.
Amorim actually began his mission to lead United a week ago after the English club paid 15 million euros to Sporting Lisbon to buy his contract and that of his assistant staff.
Ronaldo left United in his second period in a bad way after disagreements with former coach Erik ten Hag, while the Don attacked the club for not renewing even at the facilities level.
However, the 39-year-old maintains a good relationship with United fans and tries every time to emphasize that the relationship is strong no matter what happened in the past.
When Ronaldo was asked about his compatriot Amorim’s arrival to coach United, he responded briefly, saying, “I wish Manchester United and Ruben Amorim the best luck in the world.”
Amorim’s mission at United will begin with a match against Ipswich Town next Saturday in the Premier League.
