After Pachuca Incidents.. Al-Ahly Makes New Decision Regarding Kahraba

Al-Ahly management has become more open to selling or loaning Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba” during the upcoming winter transfer period.

The player was subjected to a lot of criticism due to his poor performance in the Pachuca match in the Intercontinental Cup, after he wasted a one-on-one in extra time and a penalty kick that would have decided Al-Ahly’s qualification to the final match and facing Real Madrid.

Since his crisis last October with Marcel Koller and Mohamed Ramadan, Al-Ahly has been ready to give up Kahraba, before he gained confidence and support again due to his good performance when Wissam Abu Ali was injured.

But after the Pachuca match, it seems that things have returned to what they were, as Mahmoud El-Khatib’s management wants to get rid of Kahraba as soon as possible.

According to Egyptian media, Al-Ahly will not stand in the way of Kahraba if he decides to leave in January, but the management requires a good financial offer.

This news comes in light of what was also reported about the possibility of Kahraba being included in an exchange deal with ZFC, so that the Red Devils would obtain the services of central defender Mustafa Al-Ash in return.

It is noteworthy that Kahraba joined Al-Ahly in 2020, where he played 141 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored 48 goals and made 22 others.
